The UPVC Doctor Southwest is a Bristol-based specialist in UPVC window and door repairs and installations, with over 15 years of hands-on experience in the trade.
We started the business because we kept meeting homeowners who had been told they needed an expensive full replacement when a simple repair would have solved the problem for a fraction of the cost. We do things the other way round.

What we do
We repair UPVC, aluminium and composite windows and doors across Bristol, Bath and the wider Southwest — from a stiff window handle to a full multipoint lock failure. We also handle conservatory repairs and fit fascias, soffits and guttering.
When a repair genuinely is not the right answer, we supply and install new windows and doors instead. Our approach is repair-first: if it can be fixed for less, we fix it.

How we work
No call-out charge, and no deposit on residential work. We come to you, assess the problem, and give you a clear fixed price before any work starts. No surprises and no pressure to decide on the spot.
We accept card, cash, cheque and bank transfer. Commercial and trade work is subject to a 30% deposit, with 30-day invoicing available. Our installations and replacement glass are backed by a 10-year guarantee covering the frames and sealed units, including failed welds and discolouration.

Qualifications and standards
We are FENSA registered (registration number 42325), so every qualifying installation comes with a certificate confirming it meets Building Regulations. Our installations meet Secured by Design standards and use A-rated glazing as standard, and we fit anti-snap cylinders on every lock replacement. Where we replace a sealed unit, we match it like-for-like to your existing glass. We only ever fit genuine, like-for-like branded parts.
