Symptoms

Sliding patio door repairs

Sliding doors run on rollers along a bottom track. The rollers wear, flatten or seize and the door becomes heavy. We replace the rollers, clean or renew the track, and adjust the height so it glides again.

If the door has jumped off the track entirely, we rehang it and check the track and anti-lift blocks.

Patio door lock repairs

Patio doors mostly use a hook-lock mechanism that engages a keep in the frame. When the hook or gearbox wears, the door will not lock securely. We replace the mechanism and fit new keeps, plus extra security locks if you want them.

Bifold door repairs

Bifolds are complex — multiple panels, hinges, rollers, tracks and locking points. Common faults are panels that will not fold cleanly, worn rollers, misaligned tracks and stiff locks. We work on aluminium, UPVC and timber-aluminium systems.

French door repairs

French doors use similar hardware to standard doors plus shootbolts on the passive leaf. We fix stiff or broken shootbolts, worn hinges that cause dropping, failed multipoint locks and perished seals.
